Supporting STEAM in Our Schools
In just a few years the Education Foundation has raised and distributed over $170,000 across the three Tri-District schools: Atlantic Highlands Elementary, Highlands Elementary and Henry Hudson Regional School.
Our funding enhances STEAM programming in all three schools, blending Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Athletics and Mathematics to give our students hands-on experience in problem solving and innovation.

After serving on the board since the Foundation’s inception, Corinna Thuss, outgoing President, and Brian Boms, outgoing Vice President are transitioning into advisory roles this year where the new board officers look forward to their guidance on continuing the Foundation’s success.
The Foundation would not have achieved its success over the years without Corinna and Brian’s passion, dedication and energy. Not only were they members and leaders of HHTDEF, but they are also active members of the Tri-District communities, having led and supported numerous community events with the main objective of always giving back. They are the epitome of service above self, always going the extra mile and giving 100% of themselves and their time. We cannot thank them enough for their continued contribution, enthusiasm and commitment. [READ MORE] |
HHTDEF Supports Music & STEAM at AHESStudents in Atlantic Highlands Elementary Music Class demonstrating use of the recent equipment granted through Henry Hudson Tri-District Education Foundation through an RFP applied for by Music Teacher, Jennifer Wolff.
The grant included five mini keyboards, five superb-sound Avantree headphones, and five Chromebooks to utilize with the current curriculum. These students will be able to practice ear training, reading, and creating music in both individual and group lessons as well as using technology to integrate other components for synthesized programs. ----------- "Without your support, this new station would not be possible and I am very appreciative for all that you do for all of the students in the Tri-District." Sincerely, Jennifer Wolff, AHES Music Teacher Thank you to our sponsors! |
