Become a board Member
Submit a letter of interest telling us why you want to join and what you hope to contribute, and a short resume to
info@HHTDEF.org. New members serve one-year on the Auxiliary Board before becoming a Board trustee to determine if this is a commitment (1-year, 2-year or 3-year terms) that you are comfortable and interested in taking on. Once you are voted in as a Board trustee, you must make a commitment to give five (5) hours per month of time to promote, support and participate in monthly board meetings (10 per year), committee meetings (as needed), fundraisers and programs throughout the year. You will be asked to sell raffle tickets and promote the foundation on social media and in the community. At the end of the year, we host a social event for board supporters that all trustees and their spouses are invited to attend. |
